Onsite Wastewater Practitioner Training – Starting Sept 2026
Begin your training as an onsite wastewater practitioner anytime — registration is open year-round. Get started right away with the self-study pre-work. The scheduled virtual classroom sessions for this intake will run September 10-12, 17-19, and 24-26, 2026 (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, CST via Zoom).
This program provides the required training to become recognized in Saskatchewan as a Qualified Practitioner, in Manitoba as a Certified Practitioner, and is mandatory in Alberta for those seeking a Certificate of Competency.

Program Format:
- Self-Study Pre-Work (start as soon as you register; materials mailed to participants)
- Virtual Classroom Sessions (see dates listed above)
- Exam Day
- Site & Soil Evaluation Field Day (date/location TBD – occurs during the installation season)
- Program Requirements: Attendance at all sessions and the field day; minimum 75% pass required.
Fees:
- Member: $4,249.35 (incl. GST)
- Non-Member: $5,026.35 (incl. GST)
- Fees include training materials and Site & Soil Evaluation Field Day
